Turned up at work as usual but the computer was down so we were told to be back at 3pm. Lazed around the pool doing nothing until we went back to work. Still nothing so we played football until 5pm and were finally told there would be no more work.
We stocked up with beer and started our party. (note; it was a Friday) It went on until 2am and me and Simon rang for a pizza and watched a film until deciding to call it a night.
(note; And that was it! The last day at Gracewood Fruit Factory, the reason for my rather sporadic diary keeping. The place was run by a terrific guy called Don (in the previous picture), and thanks to pretending we too were studying agriculture, we managed to secure work for just under two weeks, 12 to 14 hours a day, earning enough to keep our Cannonball Run going until the end of January, as planned).
